What makes a great leader? Whether they are born or made, all can be improved by working closely with Eva Har-Even. Her approach is collaborative, creative and engaging. The leader and their team will be transformed by the leader's openness to understanding themselves and how they relate to their team, organization and their workplace as a whole.
Eva Har-Even's Executive coaching helps people see themselves, their behaviors, their environment and their possibilities in a new and expanded way. It opens vistas and realizations that are truly transformational and thus life altering. It provides people with practical behavioral alternatives to replace ineffective ones. We outline a plan for growth by coaching on behaviors and communications that work well within real-life environments.
We begin by creating greater self awareness for the leader. The transformation evolves through re-framing and expanding the leader's personal outlook. Strengths, limitations, values and world view are identified through a comprehensive assessment process. The coaching focuses on a well thought out development plan that is based on the findings of the assessment and the initial coaching conversations. We help the individual understand how their behaviors impact others' performance. We then coach that individual to modify those behaviors and replace them with more effective and rewarding ones. Through the positive power of change and the growth the individual experiences, they can also impact those around them in a positive way and revolutionize the level of their effectiveness and the influence they have on their organization.
The process is a catalyst for improvement and success. Individuals see tangible shifts in themselves, their team and the way they relate to their professional goals and stakeholders. This is why the Executive Coaching experience has proven sustainable over time for leaders who have engaged in it.

New Leader On-boarding
This highly impactful program is intended to help the newly appointed leader achieve a successful transition into her/his new role and to integrate smoothly into the culture of the company. Research shows that New Leader On-Boarding Coaching is most effective when the New Leader (from mid level to very senior) with his or her supervisor's support, dedicates the time early on in their tenure with the organization or the specific role to participate in this program.
It is a program that is equally beneficial for the new leader, the hiring company and all key stakeholders. Using a series of highly effective tools and techniques, the coaching accelerates the learning curve, strengthens relationship building, identifies and clarifies the role including mutual expectations with key stakeholders, and springboards the leader's productivity and effectiveness.
Through all phases of this program the coach will partner with the newly appointed leader to provide guidance to proactively integrate into the company and to avoid many of the common pitfalls that on-boarding leaders face.
Executive Coaching for Performance and Behavioral Change
Executive Coaching for performance and behavioral change is a program that supports valued executives in dealing with workplace behaviors that may hinder their professional effectiveness. Typically these are executives with proven track records that find themselves exhibiting behaviors (typically under stress) that put them in danger of derailing or, to a lesser extent, not being as effective and fulfilled in their roles as they could be. Focusing on how these counterproductive tendencies are perceived in the organization and impact business performance, Executive Coaching assesses, clarifies and coaches executives on key effectiveness issues.
Our most intensive remedial coaching program involves three full days of powerful structured meetings of a leader with one or two senior executive coaches. This program is designed for otherwise valuable leaders who are at risk of losing their jobs as a result of some extreme behavioral issues. The organization is no longer willing to tolerate these behaviors, no matter how effective and productive the leader may be or how much value they add to the organization's success. It is literally a "shape up or ship out" message. During the three days of intense coaching, we will delve deep into the leader's personal history, and disruptive behaviors at their organization. Based on feedback from a battery of assessments and 360 interviews with key stakeholders we will guide the leader through a transformation in how they perceive themselves and others and what are the constructive behaviors they must manifest once they return to their roles. After the initial three full day coaching, role playing and teaching sessions we help the leader re-integrate into the organization by coaching them over a period of several months. The changes that this type of leader needs to make are non-negotiable. The coaching helps them come to terms with the need for change and they will replace self-destructive behaviors with positive ones to benefit their teams, colleagues, supervisors and first and foremost themselves.
Conflict Resolution/Relationship Building/Team Building
Some teams or team members find themselves pressed, stressed and demoralized with no end in sight to their daily troubles. This may be the result of many different, and at times overlapping causes. Working with Eva Har-Even, the first step would be to get to know the individual members of the team, assess their "health" issues and then through various interventions help them move from their dispirited way of working to one of creative engagement, productivity and self-motivation. The workplace can be an environment that lacks political in-fighting and destructive management styles, where employees actually love coming to work and are happy being there.
Mastering Leadership - High Potential Leadership Development and Succession Planning
High Potential Leadership Coaching
Mastering Leadership involves coaching high potential leaders to attain their optimal potential as human beings and leaders. What distinguishes the best leaders from others is their high level of Emotional Intelligence, their Vision capability, ability to Manage Change, their astute Strategic Planning abilities, and their Political Savvy. These are some of the topics included in Mastering Leadership Coaching. Based on thorough assessment and development planning, as with all the other coaching programs, we base our conversations on the unique personality, abilities and experience of the leader. Depending on the needs of the individual leader, very often this type of coaching includes some themes covered in Competency Development and Performance Coaching.
Customized, comprehensive succession plans are designed for companies looking to secure and develop vital talent for the future of the organization. Succession Planning is always based on the vision and mission of the company and the resultant strategic plan for its future. The planning may be within one team or company wide. The process includes competency identification for each supporting role as well as working with the individual leaders to attain larger corporate goals. The program can include:
- Competency Modeling -identifying competencies for each key role
- Personal and professional assessments of the Leadership Team members and their reports.
- Writing succession reports
- Leadership coaching to develop high-potential individuals selected as future successors
