Web Resources with Job Postings

Idealist.org

• The most well-known site that offers extremely comprehensive information about nonprofit careers and posts job listings by zipcode.

• A very home-grown website that directly connects people looking for nonprofit jobs with each other and with management personnel.

• Features an advanced job search option to filter out jobs by experience level, type, location, etc.

Fundraising Jobs

•  Specifically advertises fundraising job openings (including Grants Program Manager, Director of Development, Event Planner, Donor Response Manager)

Georgia Center for Nonprofits

• A fabulous site with a lot of resources to help you learn more about nonprofit career opportunities and to network; many local resources in the Atlanta, GA area

Good Works

• A very informative website that provides background information on nonprofit organizations, including: contacts, starting salaries and benefits, types of staff openings, available internships, annual budget and funding sources, and the application process

Careers For Good

• Posts jobs in the human services nonprofit sector.  This site is partners with the National Human Services Assembly.

Nonprofit Career Network

• Search for jobs in the U.S. or abroad, and post your resume.  A very efficient, no-frills website that helps you get straight to your job search.

Working in the Nonprofit World

• Features many articles about the nonprofit world, including how to find a nonprofit job in hard economic times, three things you must include on your nonprofit job resume, etc.

• Boasts being the “The Leading Business Publication for Non Profit Management.”  You can search for jobs and post your resume.

Social Service
